Announcing My Free Scrum Master Prep Course on Udemy: 135 Q&A for PSM I Certification

Dear readers,

I am thrilled to share an exciting new project I’m working on:

a free course on Udemy designed to help anyone prepare for the Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification.

The course will be titled

"Scrum Master Prep: 135 Q&A for Agile & PSM I"

and will be packed with content specifically tailored for those looking to gain a deep understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.

In recent years, Scrum has become one of the most popular frameworks in software development and project management. As an Agile approach, Scrum offers an effective method for improving team collaboration, accelerating value delivery, and adapting quickly to changes. However, achieving PSM I certification requires focused preparation, and that’s exactly why I decided to create this course.

Why a Course on Scrum and the PSM I Certification?

In my professional journey, I’ve seen how understanding Scrum can make a real difference, whether you’re new to Agile or looking to refine your skills. The Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification is internationally recognized as a standard of competency for Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners. Passing the exam is not only a way to demonstrate your knowledge of Scrum but also a great opportunity to advance your career.

The challenge, however, is that quality preparatory courses can be expensive, and many free resources are either scattered or lack depth. That’s why I’m developing this course, which will be:

  • Completely free on Udemy, accessible to everyone.
  • Containing over 135 questions and answers to help you test your knowledge.
  • Structured into chapters, covering all the key topics of the PSM I certification.

What Will the Course Cover?

The course will be divided into eight main chapters, each providing an in-depth exploration of essential Scrum topics and the role of the Scrum Master. At the end of each chapter, you’ll find a quiz to test your understanding. The course is designed to not only prepare you for the exam but also equip you with the skills to apply Scrum in your daily work environment.

Here’s a detailed preview of the course content:

My Current Progress

At the moment, I’ve just completed Chapter 1, and I’m working diligently on the others. My goal is to have the entire course completed in the coming months, so it will be available on Udemy as soon as possible. I’m also open to suggestions and feedback along the way to further improve the content.

While I don’t have an exact release date just yet, I’ll keep you posted as I make progress. There will likely be additional updates while I complete the next chapters, so you can stay informed and get sneak peeks into the content. I will also publish another article once the course is ready to officially launch.

How Can You Prepare in the Meantime?

In the meantime, if you haven’t already, I recommend:

  1. Familiarizing yourself with the Scrum framework: You can start by reading the official Scrum Guide, which is the foundation for the PSM I exam.

  2. Subscribing to my blog: This way, you won’t miss any future updates, including the course’s official release announcement.

  3. Engaging in Agile discussions: Many online communities provide the opportunity to share experiences, questions, and advice on Agile and Scrum practices.

Looking Ahead

I’m excited to complete this project and make the course available to all of you. I firmly believe that providing free and accessible resources is a powerful way to help anyone improve their skills. Plus, as I continue to learn and grow while developing the course, I can share those insights with you along the way.

Thank you all for your continued support. Stay tuned for more updates on the course development, and feel free to let me know in the comments if there are any specific topics you’d like to see covered.
